I think some voters need to read the rating system again. This photo even with the kitty surprise is way better than a snapshot.
in my mind it's not a lucky shot if the cat is out of focus. It's more an unlucky shot because the photographer was unfortunately not able to capture the moment fully.
maybe that's why people are rating it a 1
But no, it's not a 1 star snapshot by definition and the work that appears to be in this shot. But I can't vote a 3 with the cat being out of focus..
yea the model looks good. Eyes look amazing, lighting is good.
but the "lucky" and surprising element of the image, which is the element that is being judged in this theme, is completely out of focus and blown out. to the point where it's almost difficult to see the cat at all.
