Taken at the Jokulsarlon Lagoon in Iceland, I have a tiny field mouse to thank for this image. When we arrived at the lagoon in the evening there was a thick blanket of cloud covering the lagoon. So our guide drove us to the guest house to have dinner and he went to sleep after a long drive that day. It was around 10.30pm and I was about to turn in for the night, when a field mouse entered my room and I had to wake the guide to help get it out of my room. Because I had woken him up, he checked his aurora alerts and told us to suit up, and we had a magical night under the stars. We could have easily been in dreamland and not seen the lights!
