My dog Riley loves to stare out the window, and scope out the squirrels. She does this on a regular basis, but usually she just sits up and stares out. this time, maybe she was feeling a little melancholy, and needed to rest her head. The well-lit sharp eye, folded arms, ample light, nice bokkeh, and non-distracting fore/background just worked. I had little time to grab my camera and snap the shot.
