I've only been to Chicago once and it was for a business trip. I had a couple hours to walk around before my plane left so I took a trip down to the river walk. When I got there these bridges just started going up. Someone else there said that it is a rare occurrence for these bridges to up? I have no idea if that's true or not? Anyway, when the bridges started up I was right in front of the bridges. I knew I had to get a better angle to get a cool shot of this. I sprinted down to the other end working my way through some winding walkways but I finally got my self in a decent position to capture the action. I also think the B&W conversion adds something to this shot. In color, it looked like just a snap shot but the B&W I feel adds some drama.
