I spent Easter Sunday taking dozens of photos at the finals of an ATP tournament in Houston. I was looking forward to capturing a fantastic image of the moment of victory, but the match point wore on and on, back and forth, back and forth, for a very long time. It was a great fight, but it exhausted my attention. I got distracted by the nice light at the south end of the stadium. So, I turned the lens away from center court and composed a shot of the crowd and their colorful outfits. At that exact second I heard a gasp and the crowd roar. The match was over, but I was out of position! I was not happy to have missed the most important shot of the afternoon, but when I got home and reviewed the files, I was delighted to see this awesome display of the crowd's emotions; ranging from jubilation and joy, to disgust and indifference. It's not a masterpiece by any stretch. It's just a snapshot, but the subject matter and timing is what made it special for me. - T-Bone
