I was out on a lake to photograph osprays when first the white-tailed eagle flew past the boat, then circled around and caught a fish within 50m of me, then took off again with the dark trees not yet lit up by the sun in the background. I'm really happy with how it turned out as I wasn't really ready.. hence the luck part

Love this shot! I gave it a 4 - I'm torn as to whether I think it's a little too dark or whether I like that being quite dark adds a bit of drama! Love the trail of water droplets and the touch of light hitting the bird's head!
I've been extremely torn on that too, I've got 7 different edits of this image... I really appreciate the kind words!
