On a winter morning near Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh, India, my family and I were just returning from a chilly morning safari through the forest. Despite it being around 10 a.m., a thick fog still blanketed the landscape. As we drove back, a massive tree standing tall beyond a mustard field caught my eye. Its presence amidst the mist was mesmerizing, almost surreal and hence I took this shot.
