Monument Valley is part of the Colorado Plateau. Monument Valley experiences a desert climate with cold winters and hot summers. This photo is shot at the time of sunset. the photo reminds me of old western movie, eastwood or john wayne. I was lucky to find the person on the horse back to complete my dream of western movie set. I have seen other shots of the same place hardly anything at the sunset.
