I was in NYC when the Frecce Tricolore acrobatic team flew over our boat on the Hudson river. I was so used to hearing helicopters flying in the distance that I didn't realize that these were jet engines until they were almost over us. Luckily they came back for round 2 and I was ready as they flew over us again, backlit by the sun and clouds.
