I was out at the Salton Sea in California with a group of photographers and fire performers.

All the performers were unique but as this one danced, she started to give a countdown. At first, I didn’t understand what was happening—until I saw the sparks she unleashed at the end of her countdown. After a few missed attempts, I finally nailed the shot: the pose, the hair, the sparks. Everything came together perfectly.

I'm hoping this "hot" photo gets me a bottle of Lee's famous/fancy hot sauce. :)
