A single allium flower just beginning to bloom. This image was taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Canon EF 100-400 lens. Just prior to taking the flower image, I was in the park shooting photos of an owlet in a hollow of an old tree. I saw the allium bloom at a neighbor's house on the way back home and lifted the lens for the single shot but neglected to adjust the settings. The photo is over-exposed and gives the flower a watercolor like quality. The post-processing was primarily to blend the background (which was a brick wall) and to remove a few spots on the stem and leaves. The flower itself was not adjusted.
