Shooting at a ceramist's studio, it's a three lights set up.

The keylight has a beauty dish on it, the two other lights are backlighting Elisa, the one on her right has a 40° grid (or 20° I don't remember) to keep the contrast. There's a cto gel on all the lights for the warmth.

For this particular portrait I asked her to show her hands with stoneware clay over one of her creations.

Did you take any portraits of Elisa looking at her clay-covered hands?

She did it sometimes instinctively when changing poses but I told her to keep looking at the key light for the catchlight in the eyes. Maybe some in the hard drive I don’t know.
