This image , a rare for Dholes ( Indian Wild Dogs ) are seldom seen in such an aggressive posture , was taken on one fine morning of April 2019 at Pench Tiger Reserve of India.
I met this fine Dhole in a very aggressive mood, open mouthed and baring it canines, as if throwing a warning signal to some animal that it had seen & perceived to be a danger to itself. Not wanting to miss this rare wildlife shot I clicked it. Later on my Guide informed that a Sloth Bear had crossed the road behind our jeep towards right and that explained the reason for Dhole's belligerence.
Camera used for this shot was an EOS 5D MKIII with EF 300mm F2.8 L lens.
Image was post processed on Luminar Neo and that included a little cropping and sharpening.
Presently I use EOS 5D MK IV.
