The Windsor Tower in Madrid was a 32 floor 106 meter building that caught fire on the 12th of February 2005. It seems the fire was caused by a badly extinguished cigarette thrown into the trash which then propagated quickly as the building had no central fire suppressor system installed, although there is a theory that it could have been intentional to destroy some evidence. It took firefighters more than 24 hours to extinguish the fire which burned through the night in a terrific yet spectacular way, there is footage on youtube if you want to see.
These pictures were taken a few weeks after with my analogue Cosina C1 and a 70-220mm zoom lens. Straightened up two of the pictures and added some contrast.
