Finally decided to take a shot of this really amazing 3rd-party Gandalf (Hell Cat Grey Wizard)! He’s such a great figure with soft goods and actual rooted hair and beard! Makes him look so good for being only about 6” tall!

I set him up in the backyard over the weekend for a quick mid-day shoot. Anamorphic lens, natural light, bounce card, and diffuser. His robe was a little wide, so I had to use Liquify in Photoshop to tame it back down a bit, but other than that, it was a pretty simple edit. And I just happened to shoot it on Sir Ian McKellen’s birthday (May 25th) of all things!

Gandalf is such a classic character, and this figure certainly does him justice. It might be one of my new favorites in the collection!
