Went to Iceland specifically for the northern lights, which has its 12 year cycle peak right now. I was very lucky to have it aligning with this beautiful mountain. Since the aurora moves quickly, I couldn’t use a long shutter speed. At the same time, the landscape was very dark, so I had to do quite a bit of post-processing to manage the noise.

Shot with a 35mm, f/1.2, 4 seconds. Sony a7R V.
