This photo was taken at the Loiba cliffs, Galicia, one of the largest cliff areas in continental Europe. This coastal zone is among the most inaccessible on Spain's northern coast—a coast of sailors' legends and men seasoned by the scent of the sea.
To reach this place, you have to descend a fishermen's path that winds down the cliff until you reach an old rope that helps you navigate the final, steep meters of the trail. It's an area I had never seen photographed before, and it quickly caught my attention due to the shape and texture of the rocks.
It's always incredibly enriching to discover places that remain photographically unexplored. For this photo, I tried to include a human figure to give scale to this amazing place.
