Zoryana (seated) is a Ukrainian-Canadian folk artist who just quit her "day job" to dedicate more time to her art. On the way to the farm where this photo was taken, her car died. Thankfully, friends were able to double back and pick her up.

She decided to fully embrace this new chapter of life, saying goodbye to the old and starting fresh by shaving her head for the first time.
