This wedding photo combines a timeless portrait with a creative motion effect. The couple stood completely still while the guests walked past them in opposite directions, creating a natural blur. I worked only with available light and captured the moment using a NIKON Z6II and a 50mm lens. Settings: f/6.3, 1/20s, ISO 100. The biggest challenge was timing—repeating the scene multiple times until I found the perfect balance between a sharp kiss and the surrounding movement. This image illustrates how love can remain the calm center of chaos.

Love the concept and execution. The well framed and flowing hair of the bride; the kiss which seems tender and authentic; the sheer symbolism of the least important blurred guests...
Yet I would love to see the left hand of the groom holding the bride instead of the fist (or almost fist) in this sensitive position. Then again it's wedding: as frenzy as it could be.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! 🙏 I’m really glad you noticed those details and the symbolism. I completely agree about the groom’s hand—it would definitely add more tenderness. Weddings are indeed full of beautiful chaos, and I love capturing that.
