Late in the night at Sam + Maartin's wedding, after a slew of speeches both emotional and hilarious, I could see they needed a break. Employing a bit of empathy and promising them a breath of fresh air I asked them if they wanted wander with me in the evening light. 'Maybe theres a few golden hour shots left' I said, knowing I just want to let them walk for a while. Twenty minutes pass and as they come back, I ask them for one shot that I promise will end my time with them well. They loved it, and I went home happy to deliver some amazing shots, and that I can help a newly wed couple with the rollercoaster that a wedding day can be.
