I wanted to take a long exposure of the roost from an ATV with the machine in focus. I knew I had to take the photo toward the sunset to hide the hand and foot movement that the rider would need to make. I had the rider stop short of the top of the sand dune and then hold the front brake to hold the machine while letting the clutch out in 3rd gear to produce a large roost.
