Fraternal Frames

This image is the result of a hike down a trail consisting of 328 step stairway leading 3/4th the way down the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. As I was photographing varying compositions of the Lower Falls from this unique vantage point. While working on longer shutter speed images I noticed a vibration. No this was not a simple vibration caused by the slap of reflex mirror or unstable tripod center column or legs, but something more of a seismic magnitude. It was the very structure reacting it occupants movements (probably why NPS closed this trail in 2019). Well no sense continuing with long exposures I changed gear to more conservative shutter speeds, and a hasten ascent back to terra firma.

Enter the digital age. I came to the two best of these digital files, one with some motion blur to the water, the other none. I could not decide which I like most I like element of each. Finally I layered both in a single file blending each keeping the elements I liked from both.
