'Cave Art'...is an intentional camera movement composite of two images of a variety of plant parts and torn leaves embedded in a sheet of ice with diffuse LED lighting from the rear. I made this image to support a talk I am doing on art history in an attempt to bring early human cave drawings into our modern era. The image was blended in photoshop using the overlay function followed by desaturation. To give the final image a cave vibe, it was toned in sepia using NIC. This image proved to be a hard one to make, and I went through a number of different camera movements to achieve two exposures that complimented one another in creating rudimentary animal images reminiscent of early human cave drawings. This image was made in my studio.
