I wanted to create something unexpected for a food photography promo image. It’s obviously a studio shot using two strobes – one behind through a sheet of white plexiglass and one from the right side diffused with another white plexi panel and a white fill card on the left. Also, on the left is a light stand with a small grip arm attached to hold the fork.

The biggest challenge was the worms – taken from my garden, rinsed off they became very slippery and difficult to wrap around the fork like spaghetti – took a lot of tries to get them in place then shoot the photo.
