Feeling scattered is like your mind is being pulled in ten directions at once. Thoughts come in fragments instead of full ideas, and it’s hard to stay with one thing long enough to finish it. You might start a task, get distracted halfway through, and jump to something else without meaning to.
There’s often a restless, slightly anxious edge to it—like you should be focused, but can’t quite grab onto it. Simple decisions feel harder, your attention slips easily, and even small tasks can feel overwhelming because nothing feels organized in your head.
It can also feel mentally “noisy,” like too many tabs are open at once, making it difficult to think clearly or feel grounded.
It's how I felt most of my life, but as I got older and took charge and responsibility for myself, it slowly got better. It happens again now and then, and it's something most people feel, but are afraid to admit.
This image was taken with a nikon z8, nikkor z85mm f/1.2 and continuous light. It was during a lighting demo, and the goal was to use the strobe camera right and continuous light camera left. However, they did not have a trigger for my nikon z8. I tried to get something anyway, and slowed my shutter. I ended up with this image that I love.
