I've been working on improving my bird photography and learned I really enjoy it. This was actually what I would call an accidental photo. I was walking through a wetland working on catching birds in flight. I took this photo just intending to zoom in and identify the bird in it, not as an intentional thought out photograph. While downloading from my camera I really enjoyed the mood that it created and ended up keeping it as it did match what I was working on for the day, just not what I had imagined. As you can see from the data below I was not looking to do a landscape photo. I was shooting as I was zooming in. It was a bald eagle if you're wondering.
