Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Hi Nigel. I like your compositions and the overall mood of these. Since you invited an opinion, here is mine for what it's worth (probably not much). #1 - I would love to see more light on the person and maybe just a bit more light overall. #2 - I would crop out the tree on the left and maybe lighten the scene a bit. #3 - I think it's my least favourite. I like the concept but I feel like there's a better shot to be had. Maybe you can go back there and plan something better out. #4 - I like the framing idea but I think if you cropped it so there was less of the dark frame around, it might look better. I would also lighten it overall.
Thanks for opinion,I take it on board unfortunately it’s not staged so I can’t go back staker boy was just there...😎
