Scotland has been a favorite landscape photography destination since forever. It is easy to understand why. In this collection of photos I will show my favorites from my tour through western Scotland.
After 10 days photographing England and Wales, we entered Scotland. This part of the tour was one I was looking very much forward to. Scotland is known for its beauty, and landscape photographers have always treasured the region of Glencoe and the Isle of Skye. Both these famous locations were high on my priority list to photograph but we also experienced other beautiful locations. As in England, I had made a plan for what to visit in Scotland but it was not set in stone. We had the opportunity to improvise along the way if the weather looked too dreadful; clear blue sky, thick fog or low-hanging clouds, or a completely wash-out of rain.
Scotland is a place I will return to for sure. Have you been to Scotland or do you live there? Where is your favorite location or area for photography? In the video above I present some of these beautiful locations.
