Sleep mode

A studio portrait built around the glow of an old CRT television, using the screen as both a visual anchor and part of the lighting design. I wanted the body to feel almost disconnected from the object, somewhere between exhaustion, dependence and stillness. The cyan light from the television was balanced against a warm red atmosphere to create a strong separation between the subject and the surrounding space. The pose was deliberately relaxed and slightly uncomfortable, turning a familiar domestic object into something more physical and psychological.
