I love hiking in Alaska and always take the opportunity when I can get up that way. I was able to make it to Herbert glacier which is a 4+ mile trail, but totally worth it. The runoff of the glacier creates some stunning views as you approach it. Due to the late afternoon sun (which in winter is like 2:30) I had to pull an HDR for this to capture everything.
