New Zealand is a South Pacific wonderland for all things.
It’s not quite at the bottom of the world, but you can see the edge from there…
It does have an Air Force, however several changes in government have diluted it’s effectiveness and dwindled it down to a handful of planes looking for illegal fishing, rather than close air support in war time.
This particular aircraft was discovered buried in the depths of the “jungle” and was well past its best.
Looked like it might have been a farm shed for quite some time, and its days of flying are well and truly over.
It was only a short trek in the lush vegetation to uncover it, just sitting there, waiting for the elements to finally break it down...
