Cambodian slum elder...

Shot during a recent trip to Cambodia, this Cambodian man was just watching the world go by when I asked if I could take his photo.

Turns out he survived the genocide in the 1970's, but never got back into society because of the emotional scars.

As time went on, the new (replacement) generation has
all but forgotten the older people, and they have retreated to slum living, in pop up villages all over the country.

Cambodia is a fantastically diverse nation, where poverty and excess wealth reside together almost everywhere you look (except in the slums).
