While walking around Phnom Penh in Cambodia after leaving the S21 genocide memorial, I decided to explore some alleys and ended up outside this factory.
Over the course of about half an hour, I saw many women arrive on their bikes, drop produce off and leave again with other items.
I can only imagine this is some kind of factory, or warehouse distribution centre.
Cambodia is a fascinating place, with something happening everywhere. Commerce just happens in every little corner you look… A lot of it not so legal, but this is a country where survival is the order of the day.
It was a hot sweltering day and dusty too. Roads are covered in a thick layer of dust that rises with the traffic and permeates everywhere... clothes, undies, and cameras....
