Jackie Loko v. Robert McGinnis

Another entry in my McGinnis series. This was shot at a workshop my friend and myself did for our local photo scene. Jackie came in and held up her end of the bargin of looking like classic bond girl.

I've been working on this mix of hard and soft light for a little while, and I think it's getting to the point where it will become my standard lighting style for a little while.

Wow, fantastic look and feel. I definitely like the lighting here, look forward to seeing more.

I don’t get. Why would you want to equate sex an violence? Is this really what you want to promote?

It's a poor-mans attempt at Robert McGinnis. Nothing more than an exercise.

I love this series of pictures of you but considering how polished is this image I can't believe you didn't clean the floor in the shadow of the standing leg.

The floor looks clean to me 🤷🏼‍♂️. You mean the shadow coming from the right?

Oh it is a little dirty (just looked on the computer). I guess I was a little lazy. I did this as a workshop, so I never really considered it one of my portfolio images. I just like the way it came out.

It's absolutely perfect, I was just surprised by this little flaw considering the cleanness of the rest of the image

Looks like a bond girl from Sean Connery's days.

Happy to see you say that. McGinnis illustrated the bond posters. And the Bond girls were also known (more famously at the time) as McGinnis Girls.
