I was trekking in Vik Iceland in 2018, and I encountered this scene in the fog. I believe that vegetation and moss are covering these volcanic structures. I remember it was a damp chilly time. Over the years I've struggled with the processing of this image in an attempt to capture the mood.
I think it has something! Would love to make it to Iceland.
It will be worth the trip.... the place is "other worldly"....
