This is an afternoon image taken in Antarctica at Mikkelson Harbor. For me, this image evokes one of the many experiences in Antarctica. The static mountains play counterpoint to the high winds and blowing snow at the upper elevations. It was awe inspiring to see raw nature in its total perfection.
