An interesting dragonfly perched on a butterfly bush. The sunlight and the bluish background seems to work. It’s a challenge and good practice to photograph these constantly moving creatures. They play a major role in controlling the population of mosquitoes here in eastern North Carolina.
Ed, nice lens work, couple of tricks early morning cool or dewy they don’t move till they warm up. That dot scope should also work at close range with small subjects. And I’ve used a short (25mm) extension tube on telephotos to enable them to focus closer then the minimal focus distance.
Thanks…. I am still considering that scope.
