Sunny natural light portrait in my live-work studio in Upstate NY. I'm fortunate to have a corner with three 6x6 windows of north and west exposure that I frequently use as soft light for portraits and beauty shots. Typically window light is the main light of a portrait, but in this it is primarily the background light with the face and body lit with the wrapping soft light with some of the shadow controlled with one silver reflector.
I feel like this is possible because of the acuity of highlight handling of the Zeiss Otus 85mm lens which has not let me down in backlit situations. I call it 'unlighting'.
