Studio fashion shoot for bridal designer with CA fashion model Sofia. For this client I frequently set up shots with one camera locked down to produce consistent full length front and back shots of fashion models in bridal gowns. I would also have another camera loose to push in for close ups and alternate angles. My client liked to call them 'rogue shots' and became so used to them that we did them on virtually every shot. Since the rogue shots were usually closer crops I selected a 105mm for the 3/4 and beauty shots.
This shot is one large soft box on camera left and another large soft box on background and slightly hitting back of model for separation at about 1.5 stops below main exposure. Shadows were controlled with V-flat reflectors.
