Contrast was controlled with V-flat opposite the window light in front of model. Separation light defining models jawline and a cheek from silver card. Model's hand breaks up beam of light highlighting the colors from the make up.
Window light is generally easy to work with. The challenge here is to work with both highlight and shadow areas across the models face to create interesting pattern.
