Through the Autumn Frame

During my recent trip exploring the stunning landscapes along the Sil River and O Courel, I discovered a hidden gem I had never visited before—the Fervenzas de Santo Estevo. This series of waterfalls offered countless opportunities for nice compositions.

One particular spot caught my eye—a section of the river where moss-covered rocks and fallen autumn leaves blanketed the ground, creating a magical forest atmosphere. I envisioned a panoramic shot, framing the main waterfall and its smaller cascades between two trees to create a natural window into the scene.

I carefully positioned my tripod right in the middle of the river’s flow, framed by these two trees, and started capturing the frames that would form this panorama. It was a magical moment in the heart of nature.
