This shot comes from my recent journey across the Basque Country, where I followed the recommendation of my fellow photographer Xabi Ramos to visit the stunning Tobería Waterfalls in Andoin. Although I’d visited once before, I hadn’t managed to reach the heart of the trail, leaving much to explore.
I arrived early in the morning, determined to climb alongside the river. The path proved challenging, with slippery sections thick with mud, but persistence paid off as I finally reached the main waterfall. I framed this shot with a pile of red autumn leaves settled on a rock in the foreground, aiming to guide the viewer's eye from this vibrant start through the turquoise waters and along the layered falls cascading down from above.
It was an incredible morning that left me with plenty of material I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks!
