A few weeks ago, we visited this iconic platform in Concello de Muras, aiming to capture the full arc of the Milky Way.
My main idea was to place the platform at the center, with the Milky Way arching above, and to mirror that arc on the ground, created by the vegetation and the slopes of the hills.
I was particularly pleased to find some blooming heather and gorse around, which added a lovely touch of color to the scene. This outing was also an opportunity to continue testing my Irix 21mm F1.4 Dragonfly under night sky conditions, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
It was an engaging night, surrounded by horses and the thunderous hum of the wind turbines that stood guard around us.
