Here’s a shot from my recent autumn trip to the South-East of Galicia, taken at a breathtaking waterfall in the heart of O Courel, near the charming village of A Seara. This region, especially in the late weeks of autumn, transforms into an absolute spectacle with its vibrant colors and tranquil atmosphere.
We arrived early in the morning, braving the crisp cold that made it challenging to keep my hands out of my pockets for too long! After some exploring, I stumbled upon a group of rocks in the foreground, surrounding a cluster of fallen leaves left behind by the river’s flow. Together, they naturally formed an arrow-like shape pointing toward the main cascade, creating a perfect visual guide that drew the eye deeper into the scene. It had been years since my last visit, and this moment made it all worth the return.
