Purple Haze

The autumn photography season is finally here, and I can’t think of a better way to begin than with the first illuminated mushroom shot of the fall. While the forests are still quite dry—waiting for that much-needed rain—some shy mushrooms are starting to make their appearance.

I stumbled upon this little gem tucked away in a mossy nook at the base of a grand oak, hidden from most, but luckily caught during a weekend walk. With a touch of light, I brought a bit of magic to the scene, creating that soft glow I love to achieve in my macro photography.

The beauty of fall is just beginning, let's see what’s to come!
