Storm's Last Breath

Yesterday, we visited a well-known spot along the Galician coast—Virxe do Porto, in Valdoviño—to check out the sea as the final remnants of Storm Kirk passed through. We didn’t have high hopes since the sky grew grayer the closer we got, which didn’t bode well for a beautiful sunset.

However, when we arrived, I noticed that the sea had just the right amount of energy to finally attempt a shot I had been envisioning for months. Until now, the conditions had never aligned, but yesterday was the day. The water moved perfectly, creating those silky textures I had in mind, and to our surprise, the sky put on a show just as the sun was about to set.

I’ve been waiting so long for a shot like this!
