Chinese lens manufacturer 7artisans has just released a very fast, manual focus prime lens for a wide range of crop-sensor format cameras. 

In a new development for the company, Samyang/Rokinon has unveiled its latest lens for Sony full frame cameras: the AF 24-70mm f/2.8 FE. Just released on sale in Thailand, an announcement for U.S. and European markets is expected soon. 

Supply chain issues have been plaguing electronics manufacturers for several months now, and camera companies are not immune to the problems caused by an inability to obtain adequate quantities of needed components. It seems as if Canon is the latest to be affected by the shortages, with several product canceled and slated to be "refreshed" at a later date. 

To celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary, Sigma is offering eight prizes of $7,500 to four photographers and four filmmakers. Entry — which is free — is open to any resident of the U.S. who is enrolled in a photography or film course.
