This is Archilochus Cave, one of the most important caves in Paros (Greece) and was named after our great lyric poet Archilochus. Legend has it that he took refuge in the isolation provided by the cave to find the inspiration for his poetry. This is a combination of 3 photos. The cave not only is very diffcult to locate and hike down to it but also to photograph it because of its massive size.
3 shots, Nikon d7200, Sigma 17-50, f4.5, 1/8', ISO 125, 6 stop soft nd
It is a good shot, but please fix the horizon line.
Was this made from three stitched verticals? Maybe a model in the foreground for scale would help the viewer understand why three shots were needed for the scene. I love the ship on the horizon!
Thank you for your comments. Rich, the cave was huge and my wide angle lens couldn't fit all the cave in one shot. I am sorry but I did not notice the problems in my horizon. I will fix it. Have a nice day all of you
