Title: Best man belly flop off the balcony. This was a suitable ending to a surreal wedding shoot. I was very much spent and in a fog after shooting a wedding, about an hour before which my van was demolished by a car that landed on top of the back passenger side after launching Dukes of Hazard style from a drainage ditch. Miraculously, I wasn't injured AND I hadn't put my gear in its usual spot, or it would have been crushed. I shot the wedding, and after packing everything up, was sipping a beer in the hot tub with the the bridal party, when the boys started launching off the balcony into the [4.5' deep] pool. I remember saying, "I can't believe y'all are making me break out my camera again after what I went through today." But I'm hella glad I did.
