A smokey evening photographed in New Zealand nearly 2000km away from the Australian bush fires. A constant nor-west wind had taken 3-4 days to reach the town of Akaroa bringing with it a not so comforting glow in the sky. I intended the photo to create a somber, uncomforting feeling.
